We Work
Across Africa
Digito Dawa is headquartered in Zambia and works across the African continent with development partners, NGOs, civil society groups, small businesses, universities and other institutions on digital strategy, data governance, staff training and responsible AI adoption.
The Same Constraints, Everywhere
Across Africa, organisations face similar limits: expensive data, inconsistent connectivity, older devices and too few locally built solutions.
Aligned to Continental Frameworks
Our work aligns with the AU Continental AI Strategy, the Malabo Convention, the AU Data Policy Framework, the Digital Transformation Strategy for Africa and UNESCO’s AI ethics recommendation.
What That Looks Like in Practice
Our approach is practical, affordable and built for context rather than adapted afterwards. Examples include digital storytelling training for young people, AI-assisted workflows for NGO teams, responsible AI guidance for civic technology projects, and data governance for institutions handling personal information. Donors increasingly require this alignment, and we build it in.
We are based in Zambia, and our commitment is regional. We work with organisations anywhere in Africa where we can add something a local firm cannot, driving responsible technology use and measurable impact.
